Mark Udall for Senate

Despite the progress we've made as a nation toward marriage equality and allowing Americans to serve openly in the military, it's still legal to fire someone for being gay in 29 states. That's discrimination -- plain and simple.

We need to right this wrong.

The Employment Nondiscrimination Act (ENDA) passed the U.S. Senate by a bipartisan vote on Thursday, Nov. 7, but Speaker John Boehner won't schedule a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives. If passed, this historic legislation would make it illegal for companies to fire LGBT employees simply for being who they are.

Will you sign my petition of support for this crucial legislation to put an end to LGBT workplace discrimination and create basic employment protections?

We, the undersigned, urge Speaker John Boehner to put ENDA on the floor of the House of Representatives for a vote immediately. There's no place for obstruction on an issue this important.
